4. The High Court has banned the collection of tax from patients in health services

      The High Court has declared the collection of government tax (VAT) on patients during various examinations in the healthcare sector unconstitutional, illegal and prohibited. A bench comprising Justice ABM Khairul Haque and Justice Mumtaz Uddin passed the order after hearing the case on Tuesday.
